Tandoori Masala [tahn•dur•ee ma•sa•la] n. a blend of spices and herbs used to make a yogurt based marinade for Tandoori Chicken - a north Indian baked specialty, traditionally cooked in a clay oven called a tandoor; bake, roast or barbeque to make tandoori-style chicken, salmon or meat.

Recipe ideas: East India Pantry Tandoori Masala can be used to make tandoori roasted potatoes, baked or pan seared fish fillets, tandoori-style chicken wings, tandoori tofu or paneer to name a few.

Organic Ingredients: garam masala, ginger, garlic, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric.

Directions for use: Use 1 tbsp of East India Pantry Tandoori Masala to marinate each pound weight of vegetables, meat, fish or poultry. Marinate meat, seafood, poultry or vegetables with required amount of Tandoori Masala, yogurt, salt, lemon juice and 2 tsp oil for 6-8 hrs or overnight. Grill or bake in oven for 40-50 mins.
